This project involved the remodel of an existing 1950’s gymatorium into a state-of-the-art theatre.
Mozilo Family Theatre features an elegant pre-function lobby and art gallery, a 237-fixed seat
proscenium-style theatre, high-tech production audio-visual system and theatrical lighting, a spacious
interior ceramics studio and adjacent exterior kiln work area, and new bathrooms. The building also
includes a stagecraft workshop, dressing rooms and a control room/teaching lab for hands-on theatre
tech training.
