LEED Gold 2010
The Science portion of the Science, Dance, & Music Center is designed around a core of four 1,200 SF research labs for chemistry, biology, physics and middle school science, respectively. Each lab is connected to two separate classrooms, which provide spaces for lecture and discussion, and allow instructors to use the labs for more sophisticated, hands on lessons.
Most of the Lower Level of the center is devoted to Performing Arts. To that end, the 1,700 SF Dance Studio boasts a state-of-the-art flooring, lighting and sound system, as well as a 1,600 SF Music Studio.
The Science section of the Science, Dance, & Music Center was completed in 2009 and opened that same year.
