The new Downtown Women’s Center facility currently occupies an existing 6-story industrial building on San Pedro Street near the intersection with 3rd Street in the heart of Los Angeles’ skid row. The expanded program included 72 supportive housing apartments, a day center, a medical clinic, a retail store, and administrative offices.
The new facility was opened to personnel and public in 2011.
